A Bootcamp for the Senses: The Garden in Every Sense and Season

Cary Institute Auditorium, 2801 Sharon Turnpike/Rt. 44, Millbrook, NY
Saturday at 11:00AM - 12:30PM

A lecture by Tovah Martin...
Tovah Martin is a garden writer whose articles and books on wide-ranging topics have earned her the trust of gardeners everywhere. Tovah's "Bootcamp" coincides with the April publication of her latest book, The Garden in Every Sense and Season. "Like most gardeners, I spent my days trotting around putting out fires in the garden, deaf to the many stimuli. The the eureka happened. When I began to consciously plug in, the garden gained layers on all levels. Join us and come to your senses. Together, let's submerge and explore the gardening experience for all it's worth. Learn innovative ideas for attracting birds with berries and pollinators with fodder flowers while repelling nibblers. The goal? To go home and truly sense your garden for the first time and then increase its richness. You've earned it." After her talk, Tovah will host a book signing.

Fee: Tickets will be available at the door, and are $30 for Cary Institute, Garden Conservancy, and Innisfree members; $35 for the general public. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
